When our daughter turned 50 we wanted to do something special for her, so decided to make her a doll. As usual Doug designed and made a fantastic face for the doll and I took on the rest of the creation. I did a fun almost fantasy body, wild and wonderful purple hair, then could not decide how to dress her. Then a delightful flash came to me as a neat-o birthday doll idea. I had found in one of my stash of stuff drawers and large collection of small flowers. Ah-ha I figured there is my source of embellishment. So I did a whole "dress" out of 50 flowers. One to represent each of her birth years. So with 50 flowers I decorated the doll. Came out really neat and daughter Julie was delighted.
